Flame Health Dentistry - Practice Manager Job - Staffordshire

Are you an experienced Practice Manager looking to develop your career within dentistry?

Flame Health are currently recruiting for a motivated practice manager to join a highly successful, 5 surgery dental practice based in Staffordshire on a maternity cover basis.

The practice is located on the edge of the town centre. It is a two-storey terraced house with a comfortable waiting room area which has a conservatory which opens onto a paved garden area where small children can play whilst supervised. On street parking is available but the area is well served by buses. The practice is fully computerised and has a warm and friendly practice team. Practice team consists of 13 staff members, 4 dentists, 2 hygienists and 6 support staff.

Role: Managing the practice to costs and budgets and developing and enhancing skills of practice staff. You will drive the practice forward in order to achieve key business objectives.

Responsible for leadership at a practice level you will manage people performance and development. This will involve recruitment, coaching and developing staff, implementing agreed review procedures and appropriate training plans.

Ideal candidates will be driven; results focused and have a positive outlook. They will have experience of people management within a dental practice and will be a forward thinker / planner who critically assesses their own performance. Mature, credible and capable of communicating at all levels, commanding respect from their staff.

The key to the correct candidate is their pro-active confident and dynamic approach to their role. They will be required to take the practice forward and promote their services within the local area utilising their existing skills and being encouraged to further current knowledge and qualifications.

Experience: Preferably candidates will have a minimum of 3 years practice management experience.

Salary is negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience, hours TBC
